Actor Vijay Deverakonda has shared his first remarks after his car accident on Monday night. Reports circulating on social media indicated that Vijay experienced a mishap near Undavalli in Jogulamba Gadwala district. The actor took to his X account to reassure fans, urging them not to worry as he is alright.

His Statement on the Incident

In a recent post on X, Vijay stated, “All is well. Car took a hit, but we are all fine. Went and did a strength workout as well and just got back home. My head hurts but nothing a biryani and sleep can’t fix. So biggest hugs and my love to all of you. Don’t let the news stress you 🤗❤️”

As reported on India Today, Vijay was in the vehicle at the time but emerged from the incident “unscathed.”

His Recent Activities

Shortly after the accident, Vijay was seen visiting Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s Maha Samadhi in Puttaparthi with his family. This visit occurred just days after news of his engagement to actor Rashmika Mandanna became public. Neither have confirmed their engagement yet.

A video shared on X showed him accompanied by his brother, actor Anand Deverakonda, along with his parents, Govardhan Rao and Madhavi. Upon arrival, he was welcomed by the Puttaparthi management, receiving a bouquet and a picture of Sathya Sai Baba.

Rumors about Vijay and Rashmika’s relationship date back to their collaboration in the 2018 film “Geetha Govindam.” They later worked together in “Dear Comrade.” Their relationship gained interest again in 2023 when fans noted they were vacationing together in the Maldives through shared photos.
