Usher’s 2025 Australian Tour Canceled: What You Need to Know

Usher has canceled his plans to perform in Australia this year.
A notification on Ticketek’s website indicates that “the promoter of Usher’s Australian tour is saddened to announce that the scheduled shows in November and December will no longer take place.”
It further states that “all tickets purchased (including any refundable ticket purchases if applicable) will be processed for a full refund to the original payment method used. Customers do not need to take any further action.”
“Those who bought tickets at a Ticketek Agency or used Ticketek Gift Vouchers have been contacted via the email associated with their Ticketek account for additional information to facilitate the refund. Customers should expect the refund to reflect in their accounts within approximately 30 business days,” the message concludes.
The R&B superstar was set to hold several performances in Melbourne and Sydney this November and December, marking his first headlining tour in Australia in over ten years. Due to high demand, additional shows were initially added in both cities.
“I can’t wait to bring this tour to Australia, a place where I hope to retire in the future,” Usher expressed in a prior statement. “See you soon!”
This isn’t the first time Usher has had to cancel shows.
Just a day after he called off his tour opener, the “Confessions” singer also postponed two shows in Atlanta last August, citing an injury recovery as the reason for the changes. The exact reason behind the cancellation of his Australian shows remains unclear.
