## Unna and Hoka’s Exciting Collaboration

Swedish running brand Unna, led by designer John-Ruben Holtback, recently launched its inaugural design collaboration with Hoka, a well-known name in performance footwear.

### A New Take on Performance Footwear

The collaboration centers around a refreshed version of the Hoka Speedgoat 2, a trail running shoe. Unna has infused this model with a unique combination of retro and contemporary elements. Among the eye-catching features are the Unna motto “Finish in a Good Place” displayed on the toe caps – “GOOD” on the left and “PLACE” on the right. Additionally, it includes removable rubber caterpillars, adding a playful twist to the overall design.

### Designer Insights

Holtback expressed his excitement about choosing the Speedgoat 2 as the foundation for this project, stating, “It’s been my go-to trail shoe for six years, so it felt both personal and thrilling to reinterpret it with Hoka. At Unna, our mission is to encourage more individuals to get moving and feel great, which is precisely what we aimed to encapsulate with this design. I wanted to create a shoe that you can wear on the trails, in the city, and every day.”

### Product Availability

The Unna x Hoka Speedgoat 2 is slated for release on September 12, featuring two color options: Astral / Galaxy and Sea Ice / Cosmic Gray. Priced at 170 US dollars, it will be available through the Unna online store and London-based retailer Knees Up. Following this, the collaboration will hit the Hoka online shop and other locations, such as Dover Street Market, from September 19.
