To commemorate this milestone, Twinkle shared nostalgic photos with Bobby as the movie celebrates 30 years since its release. The actor-turned-author expressed her disbelief about how long it has actually been.
In her post, one picture captures Bobby striking a playful pose while Twinkle gazes at the camera. Another image depicts the duo in a romantic setting. Twinkle penned a heartfelt caption stating, “It’s hard to believe that thirty years have passed, and we are still here doing our thing.” She also mentioned that Bobby sent her this memory from their Barsaat days, humorously adding, “I suppose disappearing gracefully was never our style. #30YearsOfBarsaat.”
Bobby responded to Twinkle’s post with several heart emojis, highlighting their ongoing friendship.
Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, Barsaat was pivotal for both actors as they won Filmfare Awards for Best Debut. After a brief acting career filled with challenges, Twinkle shifted her focus to become a successful author. Meanwhile, her husband, Akshay Kumar, and Bobby have shared the screen in multiple projects, reaffirming their bond.
Bobby’s acting journey saw a resurgence recently with his role in the film Animal, which garnered critical acclaim. Besides that, he has participated in several other projects, including Housefull 4 and Kanguva.
Twinkle has also ventured into television with her new talk show alongside Kajol, where they discuss various topics, starting with prominent guests like Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. The show is available on Amazon Prime Video.
