Tool Adds New Performance Date to Their Australian Tour
Tool has recently expanded their Australian tour with the addition of a third performance. Exciting news for fans in Adelaide: they now have an extra opportunity to see the iconic metal band live.
New Show Details
The newly announced concerts will take place at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, with dates set for Friday, November 28, and Saturday, November 29. Following those shows, Tool will perform at Perth’s RAC Arena on Tuesday, December 2. They will be joined by the Byron Bay rock band HEADSEND in both cities.
Ticket Sales Information
Tickets for the newly added performance will be available to the public starting Thursday, October 9, at 12 PM local time. For Frontier Member pre-sale access, tickets will be available a day earlier, on Wednesday, October 8, at 2 PM local time.
Festival Appearance
These shows coincide with Tool’s headline performance at the Good Things 2025 festival in December, marking their first Australian festival headlining slot since Big Day Out in 2011. This visit will also be their first series of local shows in over five years.
International Stops
In addition to their Australian dates, Tool is set to make a stop in New Zealand, where they will perform twice in Auckland.

In a recent interview, bassist Justin Chancellor shared his reflections on seeing Ozzy Osbourne perform, stating, “I can’t even explain it. It’s a little hard to get my head around.” He recalled being impressed by Ozzy’s ability to deliver despite his evident struggles.
Chancellor reflected on a backstage encounter with Ozzy, describing how he was in a wheelchair yet still engaged with fans. The news of Ozzy’s passing was particularly impactful for Chancellor, admitting, “I didn’t see it coming at all.”
Chancellor noted that Osbourne had made significant sacrifices to deliver an emotional performance despite his pain. This resonated during their performance, leaving a lasting impression on all who witnessed it.
