In 2008, At the Gates reunited for a tour and released their comeback album, *At War With Reality*, in 2014. Although founding guitarist Anders Björler departed after that album, the band continued to tour, releasing *To Drink From the Night Itself* in 2018 and *The Nightmare of Being* in 2021. Björler later rejoined the group in 2022.
