## Tod’s Achieves Recognition in Sustainable Fashion

Tod’s has been honored with the 2025 Sustainable Fashion Award in the ‘craft and artisanship’ category. This accolade was presented by the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI), celebrating the brand’s Tod’s Passport initiative. This digital product passport encompasses two of its signature offerings: the iconic Di Bag and the Gommino loafer.

### Commitment to Sustainability

“This initiative, developed alongside the Aura Blockchain Consortium and Temera, reflects Tod’s dedication to sustainability,” noted a spokesperson for the Marche-based company. It aims to promote traceability, authenticity, and transparency throughout the production journey. Additionally, it enhances the customer’s experience by providing more comprehensive information.

Accessible via an app, this digital passport allows consumers to track every phase of a product’s creation, from material selection to the final manufacturing stage.

### Award Ceremony Highlights

The award was presented during Milan Fashion Week at a prestigious event held at the Teatro alla Scala. The ceremony featured model Iman, who awarded the honor to Tod’s creative director, Matteo Tamburini.

### Spring/Summer 2026 Collection

Alongside the award, Tod’s unveiled its spring/summer 2026 collection during the Milan fashion event. The celebrated Gommino driving shoe prominently featured throughout the collection.

Leather continues to be a cornerstone material for Tod’s, skillfully crafted using the finest techniques. Intricate inlays, perforations, and hand-stitching enhance the luxurious feel and attention to detail. Each step in the creation—selection, cutting, stitching, and assembly—exemplifies the pinnacle of Italian craftsmanship given a modern twist.

### Creative Direction

Under Tamburini’s guidance, the garments are designed to gently contour to the body with an airy lightness. The color palette is a blend of warm, natural hues featuring burnt tones and saffron yellow accents. These shades are showcased in pieces like the soft Pashmy peacoat, the perforated nappa leather jacket, and a cotton trench coat adorned with sartorial details. Classic summer stripes are exquisitely crafted from leather and applied to ultra-lightweight fabrics.
