The Rolling Stones Release Fresh Music: They’re Far from Over!

## Marlon Richards Talks New Recording Sessions
In a recent interview with *Record Collector*, conducted back in May, Marlon Richards shared exciting news about the Rolling Stones. He mentioned that the band is “nearly done” with their recording sessions in London and expressed optimism about a European tour next year. Although a spokesperson for the band chose not to comment, Richards noted that the group is feeling energized after receiving a Grammy.
“They gave them a Grammy, so now they’re all hyped up on that,” he said, adding, “Oh, yeah – we can do another one like that! We’ve got more like that if you want.”
## Future Plans for the Rolling Stones
Last year, the Rolling Stones embarked on a tour across U.S. stadiums, but reports indicated that they canceled plans for a European tour this year. Their latest album, *Hackney Diamonds*, marked their first collection of original material since 2005’s *A Bigger Bang*. This album features guest appearances from notable artists like Paul McCartney, Elton John, Lady Gaga, and Stevie Wonder, showcasing a rich musical collaboration.
This release also holds significance as it is the band’s first album since the passing of Charlie Watts. Steve Jordan stepped in as the drummer, while two tracks still feature Watts’ previously recorded performances.
What are your thoughts on the Rolling Stones’ upcoming projects? Are you excited for their new album and potential tours?
