The Datsuns Unveil Schedule for Upcoming Australian Tour
New Zealand’s dynamic rock band, The Datsuns, are set to invade Australia with their signature sleazy garage rock in 2026.
These performances are expected to be a whirlwind of infectious hooks, showcasing the raw sound that has garnered them worldwide acclaim.
Tour Details
The tour kicks off at The Gov in Adelaide on March 25th, 2026. Following that, fans can catch them at Brisbane’s Crowbar on March 26th, Sydney’s Crowbar on March 27th, and then they’ll wrap up at Melbourne’s Croxton on March 28th.
Attendees can look forward to a comprehensive journey through The Datsuns’ extensive catalogue, featuring classic anthems alongside tracks from their upcoming eighth studio album, set to release in 2026.
New Single: “Ugly Leather”
Leading the charge for their upcoming album is the single “Ugly Leather,” which bursts onto the scene with intense riffs and relentless energy. It blends their classic vibe with fresh elements, creating an irresistible force.
Since their debut in 2002 with a self-titled album that topped the New Zealand charts, The Datsuns have shared the stage with legends like Metallica, The White Stripes, and Queens of the Stone Age. Over the past two decades, they’ve released seven albums and collaborated with John Paul Jones from Led Zeppelin, solidifying their reputation as a formidable live act.
The Australian tour will feature Swedish drummer Adam Lindmark driving the rhythm, alongside Dolf de Borst on bass. Frontman and guitarist Christian Livingstone, along with rhythm guitarist Phil Somervell, will deliver a torrent of authentic and unfiltered riffage.
Ticket presales begin on Friday, October 3rd at 10 AM, transitioning to general sales on Tuesday, October 7th. Be sure to check for complete tour and ticket information.
