The Darkness Announces Exciting New Show for 2026 Australia & NZ Tour

The Darkness has announced an additional show for their much-anticipated 2026 Australia and New Zealand tour due to high demand for tickets. The final performance will now take place in Melbourne. Meanwhile, tickets for the Hobart show are already sold out, and ticket availability is dwindling for other cities such as Auckland, Brisbane, Newcastle, and Frankston.

The Tour Schedule

Kicking off in Auckland on February 17, the tour will wrap up in Melbourne on March 8. Throughout the journey, the UK rock band is set to perform in vibrant locations including Wellington, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Wollongong, Sydney, Adelaide, Hobart, Fremantle, and Frankston. Celebrating New Music

This tour follows the band’s 20th anniversary celebration of their iconic album, Permission to Land, which took place in 2024. Fans can look forward to hearing tracks from their latest album, Dreams on Toast, released in March. Expect hits like “I Hate Myself” and “The Longest Kiss” alongside some of their timeless classics.

Since bursting onto the scene in 2003, The Darkness has sold over 1.5 million albums in the UK and received an array of accolades, including three BRIT Awards and an Ivor Novello. They have a reputation for electrifying performances and are well-loved for songs like “I Believe in a Thing Called Love.”
