As reported by trade sources, Thamma earned an estimated ₹3.24 crore net in India on Monday, pushing its total domestic collection to ₹94.54 crore. The film debuted with a strong ₹24 crore opening last Tuesday, maintaining consistent earnings throughout the weekdays: ₹18.6 crore on Wednesday, ₹13 crore on Thursday, and ₹10 crore on Friday.
Over the weekend, it brought in ₹13.1 crore on Saturday and ₹12.6 crore on Sunday, culminating in a six-day total of ₹91.3 crore net within India. The global earnings reached ₹124.50 crore during this period, creating excitement about its performance in the upcoming week.
Thamma narrates the adventurous tale of Alok (played by Ayushmann Khurrana), who encounters the enigmatic Tadaka (portrayed by Rashmika Mandanna) during a hiking trip, only to discover her true nature as a betal (vampiric creature).
