Featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, it grossed over ₹25 crore on its opening day, which fell on Tuesday. Although day two saw a typical dip in numbers due to it being a working day post-Diwali, positive word of mouth has helped maintain some momentum.

Thamma box office collection (updated live)
According to reports from Maddock Films, *Thamma* earned ₹25.11 crore on its first day, while other sources like Sacnilk indicated about ₹24 crore. On day two, the film saw a notable decline in attendance, with morning shows showing a mere 10% occupancy, compared to 16% on the first day. By Wednesday evening, *Thamma* had generated ₹12.34 crore, bringing its total to ₹36.34 crore over two days.
The real challenge for *Thamma* will be its performance in the next few days leading up to the weekend. Thanks to the Diwali holiday and positive reviews, the film has received a boosting reception at the box office. However, it must sustain its collection to ensure a robust weekend. Analysts suggest that falling short of ₹100 crore net for the six-day extended holiday would be disappointing for the film.
