On day two, the film saw a notable decline in attendance, with morning shows showing a mere 10% occupancy, compared to 16% on the first day. By Wednesday evening, *Thamma* had generated ₹12.34 crore, bringing its total to ₹36.34 crore over two days.
The real challenge for *Thamma* will be its performance in the next few days leading up to the weekend. Thanks to the Diwali holiday and positive reviews, the film has received a boosting reception at the box office. However, it must sustain its collection to ensure a robust weekend. Analysts suggest that falling short of ₹100 crore net for the six-day extended holiday would be disappointing for the film.
The film is part of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe and connects with previous titles like *Stree*, *Bhediya*, and *Munjya*. With a strong cast including Ayushmann, Rashmika, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, *Thamma* has garnered mostly favorable reviews so far.
