As reported by industry sources, Thamma collected approximately ₹2.55 crore on its 11th day, bringing its total to roughly ₹110.95 crore. The film also features acclaimed actors like Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal in significant roles.
The supernatural comedy maintained an occupancy rate of 10.48% in Hindi on Friday. It initially earned ₹3.4 crore on its tenth day, and had an impressive opening weekend with ₹55.6 crore over the first three days. By day seven, the total reached ₹95.6 crore.
This film, part of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, has surpassed previous franchise entries; however, beating the ₹597.99 crore mark set by Stree 2 will be a challenging target.
Alongside the leads, Thamma features cameos from popular figures including Nora Fatehi and Malaika Arora.
Recently, Ayushmann shared his thoughts on the film’s success with ANI, stating, “Validation by the public is the biggest validation. For me, this is the biggest opening of my career.” He added that the excitement of working on such a unique script is an added bonus to the film’s achievements.

Thamma is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and is the fifth installment in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, following other hits like Stree and Bhediya. The storyline revolves around Alok Goyal, portrayed by Ayushmann, who encounters a mysterious woman named Tadaka (Rashmika) during a hiking trip. Their intertwined lives lead them into a riveting world filled with fantastical elements.
The upcoming film in the Maddock universe, titled Shakti Shalini, will feature Aneet Padda in the lead role.
