The plot follows Aalok, portrayed by Ayushmann Khurrana, a news anchor whose life takes an unexpected turn after being rescued from a bear by Tadka, played by Rashmika Mandanna. Unlike traditional mythological creatures, Tadka is a unique type of betaal who can withstand sunlight. As events unfold, Aalok faces complications that lead to his transformation into a betaal, guided by the mysterious Yakshasan, played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
