Teenage Dads have officially announced their new EP, *My Memento*, which is set to drop on August 22nd through Chugg Music. The indie band from Mornington Peninsula has also released a fresh single titled “Stay Between Us.” Give it a listen below.

### An Insight into *My Memento*

*My Memento* expands upon the band’s 2024 sophomore album, *Majordomo*, and showcases an evolving sound that seamlessly blends alt-rock and indie-pop. The EP features tracks that were previously considered “hidden” on *Majordomo*, and the group refers to this collection as “a souvenir of our album.”

### The Band’s Reflection

“*My Memento* was born out of a song we always believed in as well as the desire of giving back to our fans,” the band shared. They noted that while three out of four songs were initially “hidden” on *Majordomo*, each carries significant memories from that period. The decision to reveal these tracks resulted from the band witnessing fans enjoy them, even creating digital rips and labeling them unofficially.

### About the Single

“Stay Between Us” is a self-produced track recorded during the band’s busy touring schedule. Frontman Jordan Finlay’s vocals capture the emotional weight of “unsaid goodbyes,” highlighting the band’s engaging songwriting style.

### Touring and Future Plans

Following the impressive debut of *Majordomo*, which was named a triple j Feature Album and reached the top of the ARIA Australian Album Chart, Teenage Dads are poised to further expand their audience. They are set to tour across Australia, the UK, Europe, North America, and Canada.

### Upcoming Events

In September, Teenage Dads will tour the UK and Europe to promote both *My Memento* and *Majordomo*. They will also support Franz Ferdinand during their forthcoming Australian tour this November.
