Comedian Tanmay Bhat has found himself back in the spotlight, but this time due to rumors regarding his net worth. A recent report estimates his wealth at a staggering ₹665 crore, suggesting he may be India’s richest YouTuber. Tanmay was reportedly surprised and took to social media to address the situation.

Following these claims, a report from Tech Informer, based on insights from MyJar Blog, positioned Tanmay at the top of the list of India’s wealthiest YouTubers. The report mentioned that Technical Guruji follows closely, boasting a net worth of ₹356 crore.
As the buzz about his supposed wealth intensified on social media, Tanmay responded with humor. Commenting on a post by RVCJ Media on X (formerly Twitter), he quipped, “Bhai itne paise hote toh main YouTube membership nahi beach raha hota,” translating to, “If I had that much money, would I be selling YouTube memberships?”
Another user joined in on the humor, sarcastically requesting, “Tanmay bhai, throw 10-20 crore over here into my mouth, otherwise the raid will hit.”
This isn’t the first time Tanmay has had to clarify rumors about his wealth. Last year, he addressed speculation regarding his net worth after a startup claimed he was among India’s richest content creators. In a lighthearted response, he stated, “I can assure you that this number is wildly off – at least for me.”
