They experienced frequent disagreements, primarily due to Rishi’s concern that Ranbir was leaning too much toward Western cinema.”

Ghai expressed regret that Rishi could not witness Ranbir’s current success. “Ranbir has made a mark with various roles, proving himself not just as a star but as a talented actor. I imagine how proud Rishi would be to see his son today,” he shared.

Subhash emphasized that the film industry still maintains a merit-based hierarchy, saying, “Success ultimately hinges on talent and hard work, irrespective of one’s background.”
