Stella Donnelly is gearing up for an exciting phase in her music career with the release of a new single and a worldwide tour announcement.
Upcoming Album: Love and Fortune
Her upcoming album, Love and Fortune, is set to be released in early November. This tour marks Donnelly’s first live performances since 2023, where she’ll be showcasing her new work across Australia, the UK, and Europe.
The tour kicks off on February 19th at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory. Following the Sydney show, she’ll perform in Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Perth, before traveling to the Northern Hemisphere throughout March and April. Support acts for select shows include Ullah and Jack Caby.

Tickets for the general public will be available starting Friday, October 10th, with a special pre-sale for UK and EU fans beginning on Wednesday, October 8th at 10 AM local time. Detailed ticket information for Australian performances can be found on her official website.
Latest Single: Year of Trouble
In addition to the tour announcement, Donnelly released a new single titled “Year of Trouble.” She described the song as one filled with emotion, stating, “This one is all heart no ego, all pain no gain.” Initially, she aimed for a dance-floor sound but decided to keep it simple, playing it solo instead.
“Year of Trouble” will be part of her Love and Fortune album, alongside her recent track “Feel It Change,” which premiered on Huw Stephens’ BBC 6 Music show. This album also includes the double A-side single "Baths / Standing Ovation," marking her first new music since the 2022 release Flood.
A Journey of Self-Discovery
As described in a press release, Love and Fortune is a deeply personal collection of songs that outlines Donnelly’s journey back to herself after significant changes in her life.
It’s been three years since Donnelly’s remarkable debut album, Beware of the Dogs. During her time away, she has refined her unique sound and insightful songwriting. The familiar jangly indie-pop elements remain, but this new album introduces intriguing layers of sonic experimentation and classic touches.
