SRK, Salman, and Aamir Join Forces in Riyadh: Film Collaboration Teased
SRK, Salman, Aamir share stage in Riyadh; hint at possible film together
In a rare appearance, the legendary Bollywood trio — Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan — came together at an event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. They discussed their long-lasting friendship, careers, and the impact they’ve made in Hindi cinema over the last three decades.
The superstars, often referred to as the “Khans of Bollywood,” shared insights during a session at the Joy Forum 2025.
Salman humorously dismissed the notion of stardom, explaining that they don’t view themselves as celebrities.
“None of us call ourselves stars. Some journalists may write ‘Salman Khan, star’ or ‘Aamir Khan, super duper star,’ but we don’t believe it at all. At home, we’re just like everyone else. I still get scolded by my parents,” he remarked.
Shah Rukh emphasized that their popularity stems from the emotional bonds they share with their audience.
“Aamir is extremely organized and a perfectionist… Salman has his spontaneous approach, which comes from the heart. I try to blend both styles. Ultimately, the universal emotional connection we have with our fans remains key,” he elaborated.
As Shah Rukh approaches his 60th birthday, he reflects on his commitment to providing entertainment to his fans.
“For the last 35 years, I have been grateful for the love and support I’ve received. Sharing this stage with these legends is something I cherish,” he added.
Aamir noted that their careers have been shaped by timing and circumstances.
“Perhaps our birthplace in India allowed us to partake in Hindi cinema. Timing and opportunities played significant roles in our success,” he shared.
One standout moment occurred when Salman pointed out their film backgrounds, humorously noting how Shah Rukh came from a different background.
Shah Rukh quickly countered, “I’m from a film family; Salman’s family is my family. Aamir’s family is my family.”
Aamir lightened the atmosphere, saying he’s the “most reluctant star,” preferring to stay out of the limelight.
Shah Rukh hinted at the potential for a collaboration between the three.
“It would be a dream come true if we worked on a project together. Ideally, it should be the right script,” he remarked.
Salman joked, urging Shah Rukh to express his belief that no one could afford all three stars in a single film.
Shah Rukh responded, laughing, “In Saudi Arabia, saying that might cause a stir! Affordability involves more than just money; it’s about our unique working styles,” he explained.
Aamir agreed, stating they all feel ready emotionally to partner in a film when the right script comes along.
“The right script is what matters most for our collaboration,” he concluded.
