Smriti’s Take on the Security Reports

Smriti found the news about her needing Z+ security quite amusing. She shared, “I was really surprised when this news about me was circulated. I had a hearty laugh.” Contrary to speculation, she noted that the only special treatment she received on set was during a visit from the Mashable crew. “An umbrella guy suddenly appeared with an umbrella near me. I thought, ‘What is happening? Nothing like this has ever happened to me before!’”

In May, various sources reported that Smriti was to film *Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi* under stringent security measures. Allegedly, mobile phones on set would be controlled, barring most crew members from using them. It was indicated that Smriti would indeed have considerable security around her.

About *Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi*’s Reboot

It premiered on July 29, 2025, on Star Plus and is also available on JioHotstar. Despite competition from shows like *Anupamaa*, it has been performing strongly in viewership ratings.
