Shouse Unveils Debut Album 'Collective Ecstasy': Songs for Singing and Dancing

Australasian electronic duo Shouse has unveiled their debut album, *Collective Ecstasy*. This album, crafted in their hometown of Melbourne over five years, captures “the essence of the last five years of our lives, where voices and bodies unite,” reflects the duo.

Listeners can look forward to a vibrant blend of summery house beats, Balearic influences, funk-infused grooves, and late-night club vibes—all designed for the dancefloor and inspired by the joy of shared experiences.

“Our late-night sessions deep in Melbourne helped us connect with friends around the globe. It’s human, musical, and alive—full of experiments in Collective Ecstasy,” they share. “These are tunes to sing along to and dance with.”

*Collective Ecstasy* also includes previously released singles like “Call My Name,” “Walk With Me” featuring Felix Jaehn, and “Wherever You Are” with the renowned Vance Joy.

Shouse’s National Tour

To celebrate the album release, Shouse will be hitting dancefloors across Australia with a four-date headline tour. Their tour kicks off with a hometown performance at Northcote Theatre in Naarm/Melbourne on Friday, August 30, where they’ll showcase *Collective Ecstasy* live for the first time. They will also be spinning DJ sets at Paddington United Church in Eora/Sydney on Thursday, August 22, What’s Golden in Meanjin/Brisbane on Friday, August 23, and ICF Warehouse in Whadjuk/Perth on Friday, November 1.

Shouse consists of Jack Madin, who doubles as a primary school teacher, and Ed Service, who works as an arts community manager. Their journey to this moment comes nearly a decade after their breakout hit “Love Tonight” captivated nightclubs and charts globally.
