ShopGoodwill.com Showcases Thrift Fashion at New York Fashion Week

## Goodwill’s Fashion Collaboration
ShopGoodwill.com, the online auction site operated by the Goodwill non-profit organization, is making waves this New York Fashion Week. They have joined forces with fashion designer Evan Hirsch to present stunning thrifted finds on the runway for the very first time.
### Unique Designs from Thrifted Treasures
Evan Hirsch, celebrated for his innovative transformed dresses and commitment to sustainable fashion, will showcase over 20 exclusive ensembles. Each piece is crafted from garments sourced via ShopGoodwill.com and local Goodwill outlets, all revolving around the theme of “found opulence.”
### Engaging the Audience through Social Media
Accompanying each design will be a special social media video aimed at spreading the message of sustainable fashion. These clips will highlight the creative process behind refreshing and transforming the garments, reaching millions of viewers.
### Auction for a Cause
On September 13, after the runway event at New York’s 3 West Club, 15 of these unique designs will be available for auction on ShopGoodwill.com. The proceeds will go toward supporting Goodwill’s mission-driven workforce development programs, making every purchase impactful.
### A Vision of Transformation
George Burt, the chief operating officer at ShopGoodwill.com, expressed that this collaboration demonstrates the core values of both the platform and the Goodwill network. He stated, “This collaboration embodies transformation. Evan’s creativity and dedication to upcycling perfectly align with our mission to empower individuals through work.”
### Ongoing Partnership
The runway showcase is just the beginning of a year-long partnership. Hirsch will take on the role of ShopGoodwill.com’s ‘Resident Fashion Expert,’ providing insights, participating in national media opportunities, and curating a selection of thrifted treasures.
As we celebrate this unique blend of fashion and purpose, how do you think sustainable fashion can shape the future of the industry?
