Shah Rukh Khan Unveils Intriguing Insights on His Dark Character in Viral Clip
On his 60th birthday, Shah Rukh Khan opened up about his character in King during a fan meet-and-greet in Mumbai. Check out the viral video from the event.
On November 2, Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his milestone 60th birthday. He treated fans to two major announcements: the teaser and first look of his eagerly awaited film King, and a memorable fan meet in Mumbai. During this exciting gathering, SRK discussed various topics, including his family, his accolade for the film Jawan (2023), and, importantly, insights about his character in King.
In a widely shared video from the event, SRK remarked, “If we don’t bring something interesting into the film, it becomes just the hero singing two songs and fighting twice. The character in King is very intriguing. Both Siddharth and Sujoy have crafted it with great care. He has many flaws; he’s ruthless and doesn’t care how many people he might hurt.” SRK emphasized the need for varied roles in storytelling, especially for today’s young audiences.
Shah Rukh elaborated, saying, “It’s not simply a matter of playing a villain. Yes, he’s a dark character, but it’s essential to understand that there’s depth to this role. It’s intriguing, and I’m excited about it.” He also mentioned the film aims for a grand scale.
King features an impressive cast, including SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone.
