Shah Rukh Khan on Parenting and Career Guidance

Celebrating SRK’s 60th Birthday

During a recent fan celebration for his 60th birthday, Shah Rukh Khan shared insights on guiding his children, Aryan and Suhana, in their careers in entertainment. The event, held in Mumbai, featured cake-cutting, photo sessions, and a candid Q&A with his fans.

Career Advice to Aryan and Suhana

Suhana made her acting debut in 2024, starring in Zoya Akhtar’s adaptation of The Archies, while Aryan marked his entry into the industry as a writer-director with *The Ba**ds of Bollywood, released earlier this year. When asked about the advice he gives his children, SRK responded, “I don’t tell them much. Creative people don’t need heavy guidance. I come with a lot of baggage from my 35 years in the industry. They might feel pressured since I’m Shah Rukh Khan. I prefer they find their own path.”

Encouraging Self-Reliance

SRK elaborated on how both kids navigate their careers independently. "With Suhana in acting and Aryan in writing and directing, they manage their own paths. When they seek my opinion, I share my perspective, but ultimately, I encourage them to do what feels right for them."

Shah Rukh Khan’s Upcoming Project

SRK remains an iconic figure in Indian cinema. His last three films—Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki—were major successes. Currently, he is busy with an action thriller titled King, which will be his first project featuring Suhana. The film is set to be released in 2026.
