Shah Rukh Khan returns to the Filmfare Awards, and reports from rehearsal videos suggest he’s ready to do much more than host. Clips shared by fans highlight the 59-year-old star dancing to “Ladki Badi Anjaani Hai” from his classic 1998 film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
Fans united on social media to share a performance video featuring Shah Rukh Khan rehearsing with backup dancers. He sported a casual grey sweatshirt and cargo pants while energetically recreating the famous dance moves.
As the video continues, it reveals a throng of fans gathering outside the venue in the early hours. It’s reported that at 3 AM, crowds formed outside the stadium where the Filmfare Awards 2025 will take place, eager to view the legendary actor.
The Filmfare Awards are set for October 11 in Ahmedabad, where Shah Rukh Khan will co-host alongside Maniesh Paul and Karan Johar.
When he was officially named the host, he expressed, “From the first time I held the Black Lady in my hands to countless memories with colleagues and fans, this has been a journey of love and magic. Returning as a co-host for this special 70th year is an honor, and we’ll ensure it’s a night full of laughter and celebration.”
Fans are also excited about Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film titled King, directed by Siddharth Anand. This film will feature his daughter, Suhana Khan, and boasts a stellar cast that includes Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Rani Mukerji, set to release in 2026.
