During his address, Sarathkumar shared that Pradeep’s youthful fanbase has begun to appreciate him as well. “Pradeep’s fans now call me ‘Dude.’ I’ve embraced that title too,” he remarked. The actor-politician then suggested the producers consider making a film featuring him and Deepika, adding, “If Naveen sir or Ravi sir are open to pairing me with Deepika Padukone, I’m ready for a duet.”

Sarathkumar also reminisced about his previous role as Aishwarya Rai’s husband in *Ponniyin Selvan*, saying, “I’ve played Aishwarya Rai’s spouse, so don’t be jealous! Such opportunities come rarely. Think about it seriously and let me know who you believe would be the right choice for my heroine.”

This isn’t the first occasion that Sarathkumar has shown interest in acting alongside Deepika. In a 2023 interview with Sun Music, when asked about his ideal co-star for a romantic film, he confidently replied, “Deepika Padukone.” He emphasized that if he could portray an older man seeking revenge, he could surely take on a romantic role at any age.
