Sarah Jessica Parker Endorses Lab-Grown Diamond Brand Astrea

Actress Sarah Jessica Parker, renowned for her portrayal of Carrie Bradshaw in ‘Sex and the City’, is joining forces with Astrea, a lab-grown diamond brand based in London. This collaboration aims to transform her creative vision into the world of diamonds.

After closing her footwear line, SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker, last year, Parker has previously worked with notable brands like Gap, Sunglass Hut, and Fendi. Now, she steps into a pivotal role as the global creative director and founding partner of Astrea London, further expanding her multifaceted career.

Astrea revealed that Parker’s responsibilities will include more than just creative input; she will also serve as a spokesperson alongside founder and CEO Nathalie Morrison. Together, they will advocate for lab-grown diamonds as a sustainable, ethical alternative to traditional mined diamonds.

Nathalie Morrison commented on Parker’s appointment, stating, “Sarah Jessica embodies timeless style, innovation, and integrity—qualities that we pride ourselves on at Astrea London. We aim to redefine luxury by creating jewelry that embodies high craftsmanship.”

She further emphasized, “Astrea London will set a new standard for sustainable luxury, utilizing technology and science to craft perfect diamonds of any color, all certified to the highest standards.”

Astrea London has carved out a niche in the diamond market, producing only the top 1% of diamonds globally, specifically D and E grade, VS2+ stones. Their goal is to establish a stronghold as a leading high-end lab-grown diamond brand.

The brand has rapidly positioned itself as a key player in the luxury lab-grown diamond jewelry market, broadening its international reach to Villa La Coste in Provence, Fairmont Windsor Park in the UK, and One&Only on Kea Island, Greece. This October, Astrea will also debut three new stores in Dubai, including a flagship location at the Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah and a unique Seven Carats afternoon tea at their partnered laboratory.

According to the brand, Parker has already played a significant role in shaping the design of upcoming collections. They are set to roll out 12 key designs later this year, featuring D-IF grade stones that make up a mere 0.01% of the world’s diamonds, each certified with advanced light performance grading from IGI, GCAL, and currently GIA.

Parker stated, “I have always championed sustainability and innovative design. Joining Astrea London feels like a natural progression; together, we are embracing the future of diamonds in a responsible and beautiful manner.”
