According to Scottish civil marriage records, the couple exchanged vows in July after spending six years together. Their rare appearance on the red carpet highlights their commitment, especially considering their tendency to keep their relationship under wraps since meeting on the set of Mary Queen of Scots in 2018.

Creative Collaboration

Ronan has recently opened up about her husband in the context of their upcoming film, The Outrun, set to release next month. During an interview, she mentioned how Lowden motivated her to take on the role of Rona, inspired by Amy Liptrot’s memoir. He not only suggested the project but also plays a significant part as one of the film’s producers.

Recalling the moment, Ronan shared, “He handed the book to me and said, ‘You have to play this.’” She emphasized the importance of working with trusted creative partners, signaling the strong bond they share.
