Earlier this year, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan starred alongside Rashmika Mandanna in director A. R. Murugadoss’ film Sikandar. While their on-screen chemistry captivated some fans, the film did not perform well at the box office. Following the film’s release, Murugadoss expressed challenges faced while working with Salman, specifically mentioning that the actor often reported to set late, causing scheduling issues.

During a recent episode of Bigg Boss 19, Salman humorously reflected on his film choices. When asked about any regrets, he said, “There’s nothing new to regret. People mention Sikandar, but I don’t agree.” He emphasized, “The plot was solid, but I ended up arriving late to set. This created problems.”

Salman continued, “Originally, Madharaasi had an entirely different trajectory, but things changed. Murugadoss has a new movie out now, which he claims is bigger than Sikandar. It’s a big film, but in terms of a blockbuster, we’ll see.”

A. R. Murugadoss’ Madharaasi, a Tamil psychological action thriller, starred Sivakarthikeyan and others. Released on September 5, it earned approximately ₹100 crore globally, yet was still viewed as underwhelming by critics.
