Rush’s Fifty Something Tour: A Tribute to Neil Peart

Rush’s highly anticipated Fifty Something Tour marks their first tour in over a decade. This event celebrates the band’s extraordinary legacy and pays homage to the late drummer, Neil Peart.


Rush announces their much-awaited Fifty Something Tour, commencing June 7, 2026, in Los Angeles.

Kicking off on June 7, 2026, the tour will feature a special appearance by renowned drummer Anika Nilles. The first two performances will be held at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, where Peart last played in 2015.

Peart sadly passed away from glioblastoma in January 2020.

In a heartfelt message, Peart’s widow, Carrie Nuttall-Peart, along with their daughter, Olivia, expressed their excitement for the Fifty Something Tour. They stated, “We are thrilled to support this tour, honoring a band whose music resonates with fans everywhere and celebrating Neil’s incredible legacy as a drummer and lyricist.”

Tour Highlights

The Fifty Something Tour will commence with two nights in Los Angeles and will also host a show in Mexico City. It continues its journey through Fort Worth, Chicago, New York, and Toronto, before concluding in Cleveland on September 17.

Rush’s musical journey includes timeless classics such as “Tom Sawyer” and “The Spirit of Radio,” showcasing Peart’s brilliant drumming and writing. Throughout the 1980s, the band released multiple top-charting albums, reinforcing their status in the classic rock genre.

Legacy of Rush

Rush received prestigious recognitions, including their induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 1994 and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2013. Their impactful music continues to influence generations.
