Ruel Unveils New Single ‘I Can Die Now’ – A Fresh Musical Journey

## Ruel’s Exciting New Release

Australian pop artist Ruel has officially unveiled his latest single, “I Can Die Now.” This vibrant and emotionally rich anthem comes through Recess Records, Virgin Music Group, and Giant Music, serving as the first taste of his upcoming second full-length album, set to drop in late 2025.

### Collaborators Behind the Track

The song is a collaboration with an impressive creative team, featuring Grammy-nominated producers such as Julian Bunetta, Ammo, JKash, Mark Schick, and Ed Drewett. Their combined efforts have resulted in a track that vividly captures the exhilarating experience of falling deeply in love.

### Ruel’s Anticipation

“I’ve been waiting for what seems like forever to get ‘I Can Die Now’ out,” Ruel remarked. He expressed his enthusiasm about the contrast between the title and the song’s energetic theme. He believes listeners will understand this juxtaposition upon their first listen, making it a perfect introduction to his new musical direction.

### Live Performances and Music Video

The single was first performed live at Ruel’s Red Bull Symphonic shows in Sydney. It will also mark its debut in the U.S. at an exclusive pop-up event at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles. The music video, crafted by the creative team sweetiepie, will premiere on MTV Live, MTVU, and MTV Biggest Pop on July 21st, with a special highlight on the Paramount Times Square billboards.

### A Unique Concept

Emphasizing its dramatic title, the promotion for “I Can Die Now” revolves around a fictional medical condition known as “Intense Conditional Desire Neurosis (ICDN) Syndrome.” The music video portrays a lovesick, hospitalized Ruel transitioning in and out of consciousness, pulling fans into an engaging narrative through playful content that explores the ICDN theme.
