Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda’s last rites are set to occur in his native village in Ludhiana, Punjab. Actor Ammy Virk shared this news on Instagram, confirming the details. Rajvir sadly passed away on Wednesday morning following a serious road accident that occurred on September 27.
Details of Rajvir’s Last Rites
Ammy Virk communicated heartfelt condolences in a note regarding Rajvir’s passing. The last rites are scheduled for Thursday at 11 am in Pona, Jagraon, Ludhiana district. Ammy poignantly noted, “Waheguru ji.” Rajvir succumbed around 10:55 am at Fortis Hospital in Mohali, where he was under critical observation for life-threatening injuries.
The hospital statement revealed that despite significant medical efforts, he ultimately faced multiple organ failure. Our deepest sympathies extend to his family and fans during this difficult time.
What Happened to Rajvir Jawanda
Rajvir Jawanda had been on life support since being admitted to Fortis Hospital after a serious motorcycle accident that occurred on September 27 in Himachal Pradesh’s Solan district. Tragically, he experienced a cardiac arrest before reaching the hospital.
Who Was Rajvir Jawanda?
Rajvir Jawanda hailed from Pona and began his music journey with the single “Munda Like Me” in 2014. He gained significant popularity with “Kali Jawande Di” in 2016. According to his biography on Apple Music, he initially dreamt of becoming a police officer, but later chose to pursue a singing career.
His other notable hits include Tu Dis Penda, Khush Reha Kar, Sardari, and many more. Aside from music, Rajvir made his acting debut in the 2018 movie “Subedar Joginder Singh” and appeared in “Jind Jaan” and “Mindo Taseeldarni.”
