Pulp Unveils Exciting Tour Dates for Australia and New Zealand
Britpop icons Pulp have revealed exciting plans for an Australian and New Zealand tour, following their recent confirmation for a spot at the 2026 Adelaide Festival.
The Return of Pulp to Australia
This marks the band’s first trip back to Australia in 15 years. Their tour will kick off on Saturday, February 21, at Auckland’s Spark Arena. Following the Auckland show, Pulp will perform in Brisbane on February 24, then at the Adelaide festival, before making their way to Melbourne on March 3 and wrapping up with two nights at Sydney’s Opera House on March 6 and March 7.
Anticipated Performances and New Music
Fans can expect Jarvis Cocker to deliver his signature observational lyrics paired with a captivating glam energy. The setlist will include a mix of beloved indie hits and cult classics, along with fresh tracks from their highly-anticipated new album, More, their first release in 24 years.

Pulp shot to international stardom with their groundbreaking 1996 album, Different Class, which earned them the Mercury Prize. This album, featuring the iconic hit “Common People,” combined social commentary with infectious grooves and memorable hooks, establishing Cocker as a cultural icon.
Unique Place in Music
Although often associated with Britpop, Pulp distinguishes itself with artistic sensibility and theatricality, alongside Cocker’s sharp commentary on class and life in Britain.
Sydney Opera House Performances
The Sydney shows will be part of a summer lineup at the Opera House’s Forecourt, featuring artists like Derya Yıldırım & Grup Şimşek, Ludovico Einaudi, Basement Jaxx, The Streets, Ganavya, Perfume Genius, Alex G, Lucy Dacus, and Cameron Winter. Tickets for these performances are priced at $159.90 (plus booking fee).
Ben Marshall, head of contemporary music at the Sydney Opera House, expressed his excitement, stating, “It’s a genuine buzz to finally welcome Pulp to the Opera House. Jarvis Cocker and the band in full flight are sharp, subversive, and joyously alive. Their summer Forecourt shows will be unforgettable communal celebrations under the stars.”
General ticket sales will begin on Friday, November 7, with a presale available starting 9 am on Wednesday, November 5, exclusively for subscribers to Pulp’s mailing list.
