Porsha Williams Opens Up About Dating a Man and a Woman Post-Divorce

Porsha Williams recently shared that she is dating both a man and a woman following her divorce from Simon Guobadia. Speaking at CultureCon in New York City, the star of *The Real Housewives of Atlanta* discussed how both individuals differ greatly from her past relationships.

Williams, now 44, mentioned, “The people I am talking to now … he is nice, and she is nice.” The audience responded with enthusiasm, prompting a moment of laughter when someone remarked, “You’re bold!”

She explained that her current partners are quite different from her exes, stating, “I wanted to make sure these were normal people. I’ve been opening up with my therapist about how they’re not narcissists, which makes me cautious.”

Adjusting to New Dynamics

She noted that her current relationships come with new challenges. “I have to soften up a bit,” Williams said. “I have to not expect a whole lot of elaborate things and be open to constructive feedback.”

Previously, Williams experienced a “bad enough breakup,” which made her rethink her romantic preferences. “I asked myself, ‘Do I like women enough? Can I even connect with someone new?’” she reflected.

Divorce Timeline

Williams filed for divorce in February 2024 after a brief marriage of just 14 months. Guobadia later expressed feelings of being blindsided, suggesting that he was targeted for financial gain. Despite this, a source close to Williams revealed she has “moved on and wishes Simon the best.”

Interestingly, she mentioned wanting to remain single until she feels fully ready to date again.
