Patralekhaa Shares Diwali Joy During Pregnancy: Embracing Family Life
Patralekhaa discusses how she is celebrating Diwali during her pregnancy, sharing her feelings about becoming a family of three with Rajkummar Rao.
Actress Patralekhaa, along with her partner Rajkummar Rao, is on the verge of welcoming their first child. For Patralekhaa, this Diwali is particularly special. “We are super excited. Our baby is about to arrive, and professionally, our first production will also launch in a few months,” she shares.
Reflecting on her pregnancy journey, she states, “Being pregnant has truly illuminated my year. It’s been a unique experience, but it can feel overwhelming with all the changes happening to my body.”
In her final trimester, Patralekhaa admits that she feels like a wholly transformed person. “I can hardly relate to who I was last year. Each day brings new revelations. This journey cannot be fully understood unless experienced,” she adds.
The Weight of Anticipation
When asked about celebrating her last Diwali as a couple, she grins and says, “It doesn’t feel like just the two of us anymore; the baby is almost here!” Their cherished Diwali traditions remain strong, as she recounts, “Raj and I hold a Diwali Puja every year without exception. Raj takes it very seriously, often cleaning his sacred space for meditation.”
Diwali evokes fond memories for her. “In Shillong, my parents hosted gatherings with friends leading up to the festival. It’s a beautiful tradition that continues. I miss not being able to attend this year,” she shares.
Embracing Traditions
Celebrations have always been part of Patralekhaa’s life, signalling moments to cherish with loved ones. “Diwali means togetherness and a time to cleanse, not just physically but mentally as well, making room for new beginnings,” she reflects.
What’s her wish for this Diwali? “I hope for a healthy baby and success for our production,” she concludes, full of hope and excitement.
