Actor Pankaj Tripathi’s mother, Hemwanti Devi, passed away at their family home in Belsand, Gopalganj, Bihar, at the age of 89. The family confirmed her death, stating that she had been unwell for some time and passed away peacefully in her sleep with Pankaj by her side.

The last rites were held on Saturday in Belsand, attended by family, friends, and relatives. The Tripathi family has requested privacy during this difficult time, urging well-wishers to keep Hemwanti Devi in their thoughts.
“The Tripathi family is mourning this immense loss and humbly asks everyone to respect their privacy,” the statement read.
