“OG,” also known as “They Call Him OG,” is a massive success. Despite a 60% decline in domestic earnings from the previous day, the film managed to secure 7.50 crore on Monday. The initial performance included a remarkable 84-crore opening, leading to a net gross of 147 crore in its first five days within India.

The film’s creators, DVV Entertainment, revealed that it achieved a worldwide gross of 252 crore over the opening weekend. On Monday, an additional 13 crore was added, bringing the cumulative total to 265 crore.

“OG” has now overtaken Venkatesh’s “Sankranthiki Vasthunam,” which previously held the record with a total of 255 crore. No other Telugu film this year has reached the 200 crore milestone, making “OG” the frontrunner with expectations to surpass the 300 crore mark by its second weekend.
