Obongjayar Sets the Stage for Exciting Australian Tour Announcement

Obongjayar, the talented Nigerian artist based in London, is set to release a deluxe edition of his celebrated album, PARADISE NOW, next month. To celebrate this milestone, he has announced an Australian tour that will also feature appearances at various festivals in early 2026.

Tour Details

The tour will commence on March 3rd at the Metro Theatre in Sydney, right after his performance at New Zealand’s Electric Avenue Festival the week before. Obongjayar is also slated to perform at Brisbane’s Princess Theatre and Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre. Following these shows, he will be at the Golden Plains Festival on March 7th and WOMADelaide on March 8th.

About the Deluxe Edition

The forthcoming deluxe edition, titled PARADISE NOW & FOREVER, is set to release on November 20th. This album is a rich tapestry of musical influences, blending soul and Afrobeat with elements of spoken word and alternative pop. Fans can look forward to four new tracks that expand the album’s diverse sound, including the catchy new single “GIVE ME MORE.”

This single radiates positivity, featuring bright acoustic elements and a memorable hook that underscores Obongjayar’s emotionally resonant lyrics, perfectly encapsulating the experience of opening your heart to someone special.

Artist Evolution

Since his introduction to the music scene with the Home EP in 2016, Obongjayar has steadily gained recognition in the soul and Afrobeat genres. His growth has been especially vivid during his 20s, as he crafts a captivating sonic universe that resonates deeply with listeners. His debut album, Some Nights I Dream of Doors, released in 2022, earned him an Ivor Novello Award.

2025 has been a landmark year for Obongjayar, highlighted by the release of PARADISE NOW and a memorable performance on the Graham Norton Show alongside Little Simz. Additionally, he has been touring extensively and enjoying the success of his contribution to Fred again..’s “adore u.”

Upcoming Shows in the UK and Europe

In November, Obongjayar will embark on a tour across the UK and Europe, featuring performances in major cities like Berlin, Cologne, Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris, Bristol, Leeds, Manchester, and London, where he is set to perform at the O2 Kentish Town Forum—his largest London show to date.
