Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds Announce 2026 Tour in Australia and NZ

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are set to return to their roots.

The iconic artist, who has been inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame, will embark on The Wild God Tour across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand early next year. This will be their first performance in the region since 2017.

Tour Details

Cave and his band will perform in prominent outdoor locations in January and February, including Melbourne (Alexandra Gardens), Sydney (The Domain Sydney), Fremantle (Fremantle Park), and Brisbane (Victoria Park). They will also hold a special concert at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

In New Zealand, the alternative rock icons will stage two shows at Wellington’s TSB Arena as part of the Aotearoa New Zealand Festival of the Arts 2026.

Nick Cave’s Excitement

In a statement, Cave expressed his enthusiasm: “I can’t wait to get to Australia and New Zealand with The Bad Seeds and to bring you our epic Wild God show. It has been a long wait, and I’ve missed both countries immensely. This will be a wild and mighty joy.”

This tour, presented by Supersonic Australasia, promises a blend of grand production and the intimate experience that fans have come to love from the “Red Right Hand” singer.

Setlist and Album Details

The shows will last about two and a half hours, featuring songs from the upcoming album Wild God as well as classics from their four-decade career.

Tickets will be available starting Friday, August 29th, at 10 AM local time from nickcave.com.

The upcoming tour supports the band’s 18th studio album Wild God, which will be released through a new global licensing agreement. The album debuted at No. 5 on the Official UK Albums Chart and No. 2 on the ARIA Chart.
