Nayanthara, Kavin Collaborate for the First Time on a Rom-Com Titled Hi

Stars Nayanthara and Kavin are joining forces for their new project, Hi. The initial poster for the film was revealed on Nayanthara’s Instagram. Directed by Vishnu Edavan, the film is described as a musical comedy.

Nayanthara Reveals First Look from Hi
The first poster features Kavin and Nayanthara gazing at each other while seated atop a house. Another poster shows them on different floors of the same building, hinting at a romantic storyline involving neighbors. “It all begins with a simple Hi,” shared Nayanthara on her Instagram.
Nayanthara is currently balancing multiple assignments, including a reunion with actor Nivin Pauly in Dear Students. This Tamil-Malayalam bilingual film is directed by George Philip Roy and Sandeep Kumar, though its release date remains undisclosed. The teaser indicates that it focuses on a schoolboy’s life interwoven with a police investigation led by Nayanthara.
In the teaser, a humorous moment occurs when Nivin Pauly’s character mistakenly refers to Nayanthara as a customer in a bakery setting. The film includes engaging exchanges between the characters, alongside exciting action sequences.
Recently, Nayanthara starred in The Test alongside R. Madhavan, while Kavin was featured in Kiss and will next appear in a project titled Mask.
