Despite his recent success with his first ₹100 crore film, Thandel, Chaitanya disclosed that Sobhita wasn’t thrilled about it. He recounted how a song in the movie, named Bujji Thalli—her nickname—upset her, leading to a brief silence between them. “She thought I had suggested it to the director, which was not the case,” he explained. Furthermore, he humorously added, “A relationship isn’t genuine without some arguments.”

The Unique Start of Their Love Story

While they kept their romance relatively low-key, Chaitanya shared that their journey started online through Instagram. He mentioned, “Our connection began when she commented on my post about Shoyu, my cloud kitchen. We started chatting after that.” During an interactive segment, when asked about what he could not live without, he responded, “Sobhita, my wife,” affirming his happiness with his current life.

Recent Projects and Future Plans

Following a string of less successful films, Chaitanya found renewed success with Thandel. The movie, featuring Sai Pallavi, narrates a gripping tale of fishermen straying into Pakistani waters. Presently, he is working on a mythological thriller with Karthik Dandu. The couple began dating in 2022 and tied the knot later in December 2024 at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Chaitanya previously had a marriage with Samantha Ruth Prabhu from 2017 to 2021.
