Miami Horror Live at the Gardens: Join Sneaky Sound System & Bag Raiders!

Miami Horror is set to make their long-anticipated return to Australia this November. They’ll be performing at the Live at the Gardens in Melbourne, sharing the stage with Sneaky Sound System and Bag Raiders.
Organized by Roundhouse Entertainment in partnership with MG Live, this November series will also feature a range of artists, including Franz Ferdinand and The Living End, along with additional performances from Songs From the Canyon and RocKwiz Live.
Miami Horror’s Comeback
Led by Australian producer Benjamin Plant, who is now based in LA, Miami Horror released their first studio album in nine years earlier this year titled We Always Had Tomorrow. This album blends disco and soul elements, solidifying the band’s position as a prominent live act in Australia.
This year also marks the 15th anniversary of their debut album, Illumination.
Sneaky Sound System’s Continued Relevance
Sneaky Sound System has established itself as one of the most sought-after live acts in the country since its formation in 2004. The dance music icons have garnered numerous ARIA, AIR, and MTV awards, achieving international acclaim.
Their debut self-titled album reached triple platinum status and spent over 60 weeks on the ARIA Top 50 chart. Earlier this year, they released Shiver, showcasing Connie Mitchell’s powerful vocals paired with Angus McDonald’s production expertise.
Bag Raiders’ Impact on Electronic Music
Bag Raiders have been influential in the electronic music scene since their self-titled debut in 2010. The duo, composed of Jack Glass and Chris Stracey, has continually pushed musical boundaries. Their track “Shooting Stars” achieved multi-platinum status in 26 countries, including Australia and the US.
This year, global superstar Troye Sivan sampled “Shooting Stars” in his hit song “Got Me Started,” which received a Grammy nomination.
Additional Performers
The lineup will also feature DJs AROHA and Joey Lightbulb. AROHA, a genre-blending Māori DJ and producer, is celebrated for her energetic performances and has opened for notable artists like Grace Jones and Groove Armada.
Meanwhile, Joey Lightbulb, based in Naarm/Melbourne, recently wrapped up his “Winter of Disco Content” tour, where he sold out shows in various locations including Castlemaine and Fitzroy.
Tickets for Live At The Gardens will be available starting Wednesday, September 3rd, at 9 AM via Ticketmaster.
