Maroon 5 Collaborates with Lil Wayne on Catchy New Track ‘Love Is Like’

## Maroon 5 and Lil Wayne Release New Single

Maroon 5 has joined forces with Lil Wayne for their freshly unveiled single, “Love Is Like.” The track is part of their new album, which shares the same title, and is officially released today.

The band also released a vibrant music video directed by Aerin Moreno, showcasing the streets of New York City bathed in sunshine. In a standout moment, Lil Wayne delivers his verse from within a smoke-filled limousine, while frontman Adam Levine manages to keep his shirt off for a significant portion of the video.

### The New Album

“Love Is Like” represents Maroon 5’s eighth studio album. The album includes several previously released tracks such as their collaboration with Blackpink’s Lisa, titled “Priceless,” as well as the energetic single “All Night.”

Adam Levine expressed his thoughts on the album, stating, “I feel like we’ve gone back to what we used to do, which is not concerning ourselves with fitting into any particular mold and creating music organically.” He believes this return to their roots is what initially set them apart at the beginning of their career.

### Reflecting on Their Evolution

In a recent appearance on **The Tonight Show**, Levine shared insights on how the band’s songwriting approach has evolved over the years. “I’ve kind of gone back to writing and shutting everybody out. But Benny [Blanco] was the first guy that encouraged me to think outside of the band,” he mentioned. Levine and Blanco have a history of successful collaborations, including hits like “Moves Like Jagger” and “Stereo Hearts.” He noted that Blanco inspired him to explore musical writing beyond his work with the band, which had previously been a limitation.

The tour will see them performing in various cities including Palm Springs, Seattle, Nashville, Atlanta, New York, and Boston.
