Mariah Carey Set to Launch Her First Album in Seven Years This September

Mariah Carey is set to release her new album, *Here For It All*. The iconic pop artist will unveil this fresh work on September 26, marking her first album since *Caution* in 2018.
On Monday (July 21), she shared a teaser clip on Instagram, revealing: “Here For It All. My new album out 9/26. Pre-order now!”
The album will feature the lead single, *Type Dangerous*, which has already been released.
On July 20, Carey shared a video celebrating her discography, from her debut album, *MC1*, released in 1990, to *Caution*. The montage culminated in the words “MC16,” hinting at her upcoming album with a tease on X about a forthcoming announcement.
Carey also teased her new album by posting a countdown timer, showing “19:06:42,” on her Instagram Stories. This excitement followed her preview of another single, *Sugar Sweet*, the day before.
In June, Carey reached a remarkable milestone with her track *Fantasy*, which has now surpassed 500 million listens on Spotify. This song was her ninth Number One on the US Billboard Hot 100, held the top spot for eight weeks, and is notable as the first single by a female artist to debut at the peak position.
In total, Carey has four songs that have achieved this streaming success. Besides *Fantasy*, these include the holiday classic *All I Want For Christmas Is You*, which has over two billion streams, 2005’s *We Belong Together* with over 777 million listens, and *Obsessed*, which has nearly 600 million streams.
