Mahhi expressed her frustration with the lingering divorce rumors, stating, “People are claiming I’ve signed divorce papers—show me the proof. Until we make a statement, no one has the right to meddle in our personal affairs. I recognize we’re public figures, but we will share only what we wish to.” She highlighted the impact on her family, particularly her children who are affected by the speculation.

Continuing her plea for privacy, Mahhi said, “Let us live our lives. Just because we’re in the spotlight doesn’t mean everything should be public. There are claims I demanded ₹5 crore in alimony. Did either Jay or I declare that? Talk only when you have proof. And to clarify, I don’t even fully grasp alimony.”

Understanding Alimony

According to Mahhi, alimony is appropriate for women who are housebound and have never worked. She believes that women who can work should strive to be financially independent. She concluded, “Until I confirm something, please refrain from believing unfounded claims. Respect our personal space, for the sake of our children and family. About Their Relationship

Mahhi and Jay’s relationship began at a mutual friend’s gathering, leading to their marriage in 2010. Today, they share three children: their biological daughter Tara and two foster kids, Rajveer and Khushi.
