## Medical Emergency during Performance

Lola Young experienced a medical incident while performing at All Things Go in New York City on Saturday. During her song “Conceited,” the singer collapsed on stage and had to be escorted off by medical staff.

Remi Wolf, who took the stage afterward, reassured the audience, saying, “That was really f—— scary.” She continued, “My friend Lola is backstage, and she is okay,” which brought cheers from the crowd.

## Updating Fans on Social Media

A few hours later, Young posted an update on her Instagram story, saying, “For anyone who saw my set at All Things Go today, I am doing okay now. Thank you for all of your support. Lola xxx.”

### Challenges Leading Up to the Performance

Earlier in her set, Young mentioned having “a tricky couple of days.” She shared, “Sometimes life can really make you feel like you can’t continue, but you know what, today I woke up and made the decision to come here. I wanted to be cool … and sometimes life can throw you lemons, and you just gotta make lemonade.”

## Cancellation of Another Concert

The incident occurred just one day after she had to withdraw from Audacy’s We Can Survive concert in Newark, New Jersey. Her manager, Nick Shymansky, had advised her not to perform as a safety precaution.

In his Instagram update, he stated, “Unfortunately due to a sensitive matter I have advised Lola Young to pull out of performing at Audacy – We Can Survive. Lola is very open about her mental health, and sometimes we have to take protective measures to keep her safe.”

### Apologies to Fans

Shymansky concluded his message by expressing regret, saying, “She is an incredible person and always takes her fans seriously. I can only send huge apologies for the inconvenience caused.”

## Recent Musical Projects

The canceled performance followed the release of Young’s latest album, *I’m Only F**king Myself*, just a week prior. The artist gained popularity with her track “Messy” from 2024 and has released other works, including *My Mind Wanders and Sometimes Leaves Completely* (2023) and *This Wasn’t Meant for You Anyway* (2024).
