### Las Vegas Residency at Sphere
Rumors suggest that Metallica could be eyeing a residency at the groundbreaking Sphere venue, targeted for the fall of 2026, after their M72 World Tour concludes. During his conversation on the *Howard Stern Show*, Ulrich mentioned that while the band is exploring this option, “nothing is etched in stone.” He expressed his admiration for the venue, stating that it captured the attention of both the band’s managers and their production team.
“I’m not going to confirm anything, because there’s nothing to confirm,” Ulrich noted. However, he admitted he would love to make this residency a reality if the stars align.
### Excitement for the Venue
Ulrich shared his experience attending a U2 concert at the Sphere, revealing how the performance left him in awe. “I was there, and like everyone else that night, I was completely blown away,” he recalled, feeling this marked a new era in live performances.
### Super Bowl Aspirations

He emphasized that performing in San Francisco would be a dream come true due to the band’s long-standing connection to the Bay Area. However, he clarified, “We haven’t been approached.”
