In a podcast hosted by Raj Shamani, Lakshya opened up about how the sudden halt in his film projects left him feeling “blank and numb.” Despite these setbacks, he remains confident that things will eventually turn in his favor.

“Who do I blame? God? Or Karan Johar? I can’t blame anyone,” he stated. He believes in the idea that everything happens for a reason, expressing optimism about turning tables in the future. Throughout the challenges of the pandemic, he remained committed to honing his skills with daily routines like voice training and gym workouts.

Maintaining Perspective

Lakshya articulates that he didn’t suffer from self-doubt due to his unplanned journey into acting. Having stepped into this world almost serendipitously, he felt less burdened by the pressure to become a star. Instead, he focused on continuously improving himself.

Reflecting on industry offers, he mentioned a lucrative TV role after his stint in *Porus*, which his father encouraged him to accept. Yet, internally, he grappled with questions of self-worth and his aspirations in the film industry.

Currently, Lakshya is enjoying success through Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, *Ba***ds of Bollywood*, where he plays a leading role on Netflix. Meanwhile, *Dostana 2* will now feature Vikrant Massey, alongside Lakshya, who will still stay connected to the project in some capacity.
