Kritika Kamra has been carving her niche in the OTT space with series like Hush Hush, Bambai Meri Jaan, and Gyaarah Gyaarah. Despite her successes, she admits there can be a long wait between projects, which can be quite nerve-wracking.
In her latest role, Kritika featured in Saare Jahan Se Accha, where she expressed, “There’s been a bit of a wait before releases, which sometimes can be difficult for us actors. However, the feedback for Saare Jahan Se Accha has been positive, with audiences watching it consistently even two months after its release. This response is encouraging, as it indicates that viewers are recommending it to others.”
Kritika is soon set to appear in another major web series, Matka King, alongside Vijay Varma. While the release date remains undecided, she remarks, “Working on an ambitious project like Matka King takes time. I try to stay productive during these waiting periods and ensure I have multiple projects in focus. When your work is well-received, it truly validates that wait.”
Looking back on her journey in the OTT medium, Kritika reflects, “My growth has been gradual, and I am content with that. I see myself here for the long term, making decisions that resonate with me, and I’m willing to take the time to achieve fulfilling results.”
